Product Description

This item is based on an official Thames Valley Police notebook as carried by the police in the 1960s and 1970s. The front cover shows that the officer who owns the notebook is ‘E. Morse’, that it was issued by ‘S. Strange’, and was valid from 6th January 1987 (the date the first episode, The Dead of Jericho was transmitted on UK television) until 15th November 2000 (the date the last episode, The Remorseful Day was first transmitted), book number 33 (the total number of episodes), and the date of issue being the 12th January 1975 (the day the first Inspector Morse book, Last Bus to Woodstock was published). The back cover, and inside back and front covers contain the actual police cautions and verbal warnings used by the police at that time. The notebook is spiral bound with laminated card covers for extra protection and contains 50 lined pages.

A practical additional to any Morse collection.
