The illustration is taken from a watercolour entitled ‘Morse’s Three-Pint Problem’, a pun on how Morse liked to solve a case as opposed to Sherlock Holmes who found his tricky cases ‘Three Pipe Problems’. The scene is of Morse and Lewis at some country public house enjoying a drink while discussing their latest case. In the background can be seen the famous Burgundy Jaguar and beyond the Oxford skyline. Sold in packs containing 10 laminated notelets and 10 postcards.
